| Obverse description | Central field bears the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) in three lines of bold Arabic Naskh script: 'There is no deity but Allah, the One; there is no partner to Him; Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.' The inscription is enclosed within a double circular border, with a marginal legend containing the Quranic verse III:26 (Al Imran) running continuously around the outer band. The overall style is typical of Ilkhanid hammered silver coinage, with the field inscription densely arranged and the marginal text partially visible due to the irregular flan. |

| Obverse lettering | (Translation: Field: lā ilāha illā Allāh / waḥdahū lā sharīka lahū / Muḥammad rasūl Allāh Margin: allāhumma mālik al-mulk tuʾtī al-mulk man tashāʾ wa tanziʿu al-mulk mimman tashā Field: There is no deity but Allah, the One / there is no partner to Him / Muhammad is the messenger of Allah Margin: O Allah, Owner of the Kingdom! Thou givest the kingdom to whomsoever Thou pleasest and takest away the kingdom from whomsoever Thou pleasest) |
| Reverse description | Central field displays the titulature of Hulagu Khan in four lines of Arabic Naskh script, reading 'The supreme Khan; Hulagu, the great Ilkhan,' notably omitting any citation of the Great Khan Möngke. The inscription is enclosed within a double circular border, with the marginal legend containing the mint name and regnal date arranged around the periphery. The absence of Möngke Khan's name distinguishes this type from earlier Hulagu issues and is a key diagnostic feature for dating and attribution within the Ilkhanid series. |
