| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displaying a multi-line Arabic inscription in three horizontal registers within a single linear circle, surrounded by an outer beaded border. The legend, rendered in Kufic script, likely records the ruler's name and titles along with the mint name Ghazni and the regnal or hijri date. The flan is broad and irregular with slight weakness at the edges, typical of hammered billon dirhams of the Ghaznavid period. Surfaces exhibit heavy patination and encrustations consistent with prolonged burial. The epigraphic layout conforms closely to contemporary eastern Islamic coin types issued under Sultan Ibrahim (AH 451–492). |
