The mint name Saray al-Jadida and the abbreviated regnal year 790 AH appear in bold, raised Arabic script. The composition fills the flan entirely, with no border or marginal legend, in keeping with standard Golden Horde dirham design conventions. The flan shows the characteristic irregular outline of hand-cut silver typical of hammered issues from this mint. |
