Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic legend in the same bold hammered style as the obverse, referencing the mint city of Qrim (Crimea). The inscription is distributed across the field in horizontal registers, with individual characters in high relief against a flat, slightly granular ground. Scattered pellet ornaments are visible between lines, a decorative device typical of Golden Horde Crimean mint issues of this period. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hand-cut planchet production.
