The inscription is arranged within an informal rectangular cartouche formed by the interlocking strokes of the lettering. The flan is irregular and slightly cupped, with a plain border of small pellets partially visible around the periphery. The die is struck slightly off-center, a common feature of hand-struck Jochid dirhams of this period. |

The numerals are rendered in Eastern Arabic form. The surrounding field is plain, with the irregular flan edge exhibiting typical flow lines from the hammering process. The strike is moderately sharp at center with some weakness toward the margins, consistent with workshop production practices of the Golden Horde at Khwarizm. |
