| Reverse description | Irregular hammered flan bearing a three-line Arabic mint and date legend in the central field, reading 'Duriba / Azaq / Sana [year]' (Struck / at Azaq / in the year [AH date]). The Naskh script letters are boldly raised with visible beading or pellet ornaments separating the lines, a decorative feature common on Golden Horde Azaq mint issues. The flan edges are ragged and uneven, consistent with hand-cut planchet preparation, and portions of the legend are weakly struck or off-flan toward the periphery. |
