| Obverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend executed in a bold, angular hand characteristic of late Golden Horde coinage. The uppermost register displays a stylised tughra or tamgha device within a rectangular cartouche, serving as the dynastic emblem of Shadi Beg Khan. Below, the honorific inscription in Arabic reads that the Sultan the Just, Shadi Beg Khan, may his reign be prolonged. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, typical of hammered silver production of the period. |
