Reverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic mint and date legend, arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. The inscription records the place of issue as the city of Azaq (modern Azov), one of the principal commercial mints of the western Golden Horde, along with the regnal year of striking. The surface shows the characteristic granular texture and irregular flan edges produced by the hammering technique, with portions of the legend occasionally running off the coin's edge due to die-to-flan size discrepancy.
