| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field occupied by the mint formula in Arabic script, disposed across two or three horizontal lines within a plain field. The legend records the place of striking as Saray, the principal mint of the Golden Horde. A border of raised pellets frames the upper portion of the flan, a decorative device common to Saray issues of this period. The script is rendered in the same bold Naskh hand as the obverse, with individual letters separated by pellet diacritics. The irregular flan edge, characteristic of hammered production, results in partial legend loss at the periphery. |
