Obverse description Obverse field entirely occupied by a bold Arabic legend in flowing Naskh script, reading the name and title of the ruler Nawruz Beg Khan. The inscription is arranged in multiple lines filling the flan, with characteristic cursive strokes and ligatures typical of Golden Horde coinage. The die is struck on an irregular, roughly circular flan with uneven edges consistent with hammered production. No border or decorative frame is present, the legend alone dominating the design.
