The lettering is executed in a bold Naskh-influenced hand consistent with Golden Horde mint practice. The irregular flan edge is typical of the hammered technique employed at the Saray al-Jadida mint during the reign of Uzbeg Khan. The mint and date line at the base of the cartouche provides the principal attribution data for this type. |
