| Obverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in naskh script reading the royal titulature of Sultan Muhammad Khan, with the honorific formula invoking divine prolongation of his reign. The inscription is arranged in two or three horizontal registers across the flan, with floral or geometric ornamental devices framing the text above and below. The die is applied to an irregularly shaped, hand-cut flan typical of hammered Golden Horde silver coinage, resulting in a slightly uneven peripheral outline. The field surface displays characteristic granular texture from the hammering process, with the raised legends showing moderate relief. |
