Obverse description Central field bears the title of Khan Janibeg rendered in Arabic script, enclosed within a circular border. The design incorporates ornamental devices in two known variants: the first featuring a trefoil arrangement of three globules, and the second displaying an infinite knot motif. The inscription is executed in the Korasmian epigraphic style characteristic of mid-14th century Golden Horde coinage.

Reverse description Central field enclosed within a double pointed hexalobe cartouche displaying the AH date expressed in Arabic numerals followed by the mint name. Two die varieties are documented: the first without additional ornament, and the second incorporating an infinite knot device within the design. The hexalobe frame is a hallmark of the Korasmian stylistic tradition prevalent on Golden Horde dirhams of this period.
