| Reverse description | Central field bearing a three-line Arabic inscription in bold relief, arranged horizontally across the flan, recording the mint name and AH date of issue. The legend reads, in translation, 'Minted in Saray al-Jadida, 762,' identifying the New Saray mint and the Hijri year corresponding to 1361 CE. The numeral '٧٦٢' (762) is clearly legible in the lower register, consistent with what is visible on the coin. No ornamental border or additional decorative elements are present, in keeping with the plain epigraphic convention of Golden Horde coinage of this period. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, characteristic of hammered silver production. |
