| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in horizontal registers, recording the mint name and date of issue. The legend identifies the place of striking as Saray al-Jadida (New Saray) and the Hijri year 753. The script is bold and slightly compressed to fit the irregular flan, with partial legend loss at the margins due to the characteristic off-center striking of hammered Jochid dirhams. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Jani Beg's reign over the Golden Horde coincided with the Black Death tearing through the western steppe in 1346–47, a catastrophe that contemporary sources — including Ibn Battuta, who had visited Jani Beg's court — describe as devastating Saray's population. The plague reached Europe partly through Mongol siege operations at Kaffa that same decade. That this silver dang was struck at Saray al-Jadida in 1352 places it within years of maximum demographic collapse across the khanate's core territory, making sustained mint output at that volume a logistical achievement worth noting.
