| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic mint and date inscription enclosed within a partial cartouche or linear frame, with a prominent inner dotted border running along the lower portion of the coin. The legend records the mint name Saray al-Jadida and the AH date 752. The script is characteristic of the bold, somewhat angular Naskh style employed by Golden Horde mint engravers of the mid-14th century. The flan edges are irregular and show slight metal flow consistent with hand-hammered production. |
