Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, reading 'Sultan the Just Jani Beg Khan, may his rule be long.' The inscription is executed in bold relief across an irregular flan typical of hammered Golden Horde coinage, with letter strokes clearly defined despite the characteristic planchet irregularities. The flat field surrounding the legend shows no additional decorative border or ornamental device.
