Obverse description Central field bearing a three-line Arabic legend in naskh script, reading 'al-Sultan al-Adil / Jani Beg Khan' with the AH date 751 below, all executed in raised hammered relief on an irregularly shaped flan. The inscription is arranged horizontally across the field in a tabular format typical of Golden Horde coinage, with a pellet border visible along the lower portion of the coin. The die is slightly off-center, a characteristic feature of hand-struck issues from the Saray al-Jadida mint. The surface shows natural patination consistent with silver of this period.
