| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic mint and date legend arranged within a lobed or pointed cartouche formed by an interlaced strapwork frame, a decorative device characteristic of Jani Beg's Saray al-Jadida issues. Small pellets or ornamental stops are visible in the angles of the frame. The field inscription records the mint name Saray al-Jadida and the AH date 746, corresponding to 1346 CE. The overall execution is consistent with standard Golden Horde hammered silver production of the mid-14th century. |
