The legend is presented within an unbordered field on the irregularly shaped flan, characteristic of hammered coinage of the Sufid dynasty. The script is rendered in a angular, monumental Kufic style typical of late 14th-century Central Asian coinage. The flan shows slight irregularity at the edges consistent with hand-struck production. |
