Obverse description Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in angular Kufic-influenced script, reading the royal titulature of Sultan Berdi Beg Khan. The inscription is arranged in horizontal registers across the flan and identifies the ruler with the epithet 'the Highest' (al-A'zam). The field is enclosed by a beaded inner border following the irregular edge of the hammered flan. The die is slightly off-center, a characteristic feature of Golden Horde hammered coinage of this period.

Reverse description Central field displaying a multi-line Arabic inscription in cursive Naskh script arranged in horizontal registers, giving the mint name and regnal year. The legend reads 'Mint of Khwarizm, year 759' (AH), identifying the place of production as Khwarizm (modern Urgench). A partial beaded border frames the inscription, consistent with the irregular hammered flan. The bold, deeply struck lettering is characteristic of Khwarizm mint production under the later Golden Horde khans.
