Reverse description The reverse field bears a three-line Arabic mint and date legend in a cursive Naskh hand, densely arranged across the flan. The inscription reads 'Duriba / Urdu / Sanat sab'in wa-sab' mi'a' (Struck / at Ordu / in the year seven hundred and seventy, i.e. AH 770 / AD 1369). The script is executed with fluid, interlocking strokes that nearly fill the entire flan, leaving minimal field visible. The coin's irregular edge and variable strike pressure, both hallmarks of hand-hammered Golden Horde dirhams, are clearly evident.
