Obverse description Central field dominated by the Jochid tamga symbol, depicted in relief with characteristic trident-like form, surmounted by a crescent. The tamga and crescent are enclosed within a raised circular border ornamented with a ring of pellets, itself surrounded by a secondary dotted border near the irregular coin edge. The design is executed in bold, slightly crude hammered relief typical of anonymous Bulghar-mint coinage of the late 13th to early 14th century.
