| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by multiple horizontal lines of Arabic script arranged in three or four registers, characteristic of the Ghaznavid hammered dirham tradition. The legends, executed in an angular Kufic style with later Naskh influences, fill the flan almost entirely with minimal inner border visible. The inscription likely contains the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) together with the ruler's name and titles. The coin is struck on an irregular planchet with moderate die wear and surface patination consistent with prolonged circulation. |
