The legends occupy the full field in the typical Andalusian hammered dirham style, with the text distributed across four or five registers. The coin surface is irregular, characteristic of hand-struck Taifa-period silver coinage. The script is angular Kufic, with diacritical marks visible on several letters. A marginal legend runs partially around the circumference within the outer border. |
