| Obverse description | Central field bearing multiple lines of Kufic Arabic inscription arranged horizontally within a plain linear border. The legends occupy the full field in the typical Andalusian hammered dirham style, with the text distributed across four or five registers. The coin surface is irregular, characteristic of hand-struck Taifa-period silver coinage. The script is angular Kufic, with diacritical marks visible on several letters. A marginal legend runs partially around the circumference within the outer border. |
