The central field contains multiple horizontal lines of Arabic Kufic script arranged in concentric registers, presenting religious formulae. An outer marginal legend in Arabic Kufic script encircles the entire design, separated from the inner field by a plain inner circle. The striking is irregular, as typical of hammered dirhams of this period and region, with some flatness at the periphery. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse follows the standard Abbasid-influenced epigraphic dirham format, with the central field occupied by multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic inscription arranged in registers, containing the Shahada and mint or ruler references. A circular marginal legend in Kufic script surrounds the inner field, enclosed by a dotted or plain border. The flan is slightly irregular and the strike is typical of hand-hammered production, with minor weakness at the edges. |
