| Opis awersu | Central field contains the Islamic profession of faith in Kufic Arabic script arranged in horizontal lines. A concentric inner legend surrounds the central inscription, itself enclosed within a plain linear circle. The outer marginal legend, separated by a beaded or plain border, records the mint name al-Muhammadiyah and the AH date in full written form. Evenly spaced annulets punctuate the outermost margin at regular intervals, a characteristic decorative device of Abbasid silver coinage. |
