Reverse description Central device consisting of a bold six-petalled rosette or flower motif, formed by six circular lobes arranged symmetrically around a central ring, rendered in high relief against the flat field. The design occupies most of the flan and is characteristic of Mamluk provincial copper issues struck at Trablus (Tripoli). The coin exhibits an irregular, slightly polygonal flan with green and brown patination typical of hammered copper dirhams of this period.
