| Obverse description | Central field contains multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic inscription arranged within a plain inner circle. The legends proclaim the Islamic declaration of faith (shahada) and the name of the ruling authority. The field is densely inscribed with angular Kufic script characteristic of Andalusian Taifa coinage. The coin exhibits the irregular flan typical of hammered silver dirhams of the period. No figurative imagery is present, consistent with Islamic numismatic tradition. |
