正面描述	Central field bears the kalima in three horizontal lines, with the first line reading 'لا اله الا', the full shahada completing across the remaining lines. A circular marginal legend surrounds the central inscription, commencing with 'بسم الله' at approximately the 1 o'clock position and reading right to left, recording the mint name al-Haruniyah and the hijri year. The margin is defined by two concentric rings with evenly spaced annulets between them, a characteristic decorative border treatment of Abbasid dirhams of this period. The entire design is executed in the formal angular Kufic script typical of late 2nd-century AH Islamic coinage.
