| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crude hammered silver flan bearing a central Arabic legend in multiple lines within the field, executed in a bold, informal script characteristic of late Mamluk coinage. The inscription, occupying nearly the entire face, contains the sultan's name and titles. The periphery is irregular, consistent with hand-struck hammered coinage of the period. Patina is uneven with areas of grey and green toning, evidencing age and circulation. No border or decorative frame is present. |
