An outer marginal legend carries Quranic verse 30:4–5 ('To God belongs the matter before and after, and on that day the believers will rejoice in the victory of God'), while a second outer band contains the Quranic verse 9:33 ('Muhammad is the Messenger of God who sent him with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, even if the polytheists dislike it').
