Obverse description Central field bearing multiple lines of Arabic script arranged in a tight rectangular cartouche, typical of Saadian hammered silver coinage. The legends are struck in relief against a plain flat field, with the script showing characteristic Maghribi calligraphic style. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-hammered production. Dotted separators are visible between textual elements within the cartouche.
