Descrizione del dritto	Central field bears a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged in horizontal lines within a single inner circle, with a pellet above the uppermost line. The inner circle is surrounded by a raised linear border, beyond which an Arabic marginal legend in Kufic script encircles the entire field. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and flat, somewhat porous surfaces typical of hammered Islamic dirhams of the mid-10th century.

Descrizione del rovescio	Central field contains a multi-line Arabic inscription in Kufic script arranged in horizontal bands within a raised inner circle, referencing the ruler Abu Muttalib and standard Abbasid-style formulaic text. A concentric marginal legend in Arabic Kufic script runs around the periphery between the inner circle and the toothed outer border. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hand-struck production of the Julandid series.
