Reverse description A large, detailed bunch of grapes suspended from a vine shoot with a leaf visible at the upper field, all set within a shallow incuse square. The grapes are rendered as a cluster of individually delineated spherical berries arranged in a naturalistic, pendant form. To the lower left of the bunch appears the Greek letter Sigma (Σ), and to the lower right the letters Alpha-Rho (ΑΡ), together forming the abbreviated royal name ΣΑΡΑΤΟΚΟΣ (Saratokos), ruler of the Odryssian Kingdom. The design reflects the Thracian association with viticulture and the iconographic conventions of contemporary Greek coinage.
