The central device features three curved legs radiating from a common hub, with a small pellet or annulet visible above the triskeles in the upper field. The border is formed by a beaded or dotted inner ring framing the design, characteristic of early Lycian dynastic coinage. The incuse impression is shallow and uneven, reflecting the variable pressure inherent in fifth-century BC hand-hammered technique. |
