Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, draped over the left shoulder, depicted in the provincial Roman style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The imperial effigy shows fine engraving of facial features, with the laurel wreath clearly rendered. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΔΟΜΙΤΙΑΝΟΣ ΣΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ, identifying the emperor as Augustus Germanicus. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of Alexandrian bronze issues of this period.
