| 裏面の説明 | Deep quadripartite incuse square, divided into four roughly equal rectangular compartments by a raised cross-shaped ridge, produced by the punch of the reverse die. The incuse is boldly impressed and slightly off-center on the irregular flan, a hallmark of early archaic hammered coinage from Abdera. The surface within the compartments shows the characteristic granular texture of the period. No inscription or additional device is present. |
