| Obverse description | Eagle standing to left with wings closed, rendered in relief on the irregularly shaped flan. The bird is depicted in profile with bold, archaic stylization typical of early fifth-century BC Mysian coinage from Abydos. The plumage is indicated by deeply engraved strokes across the body and folded wings. The design occupies the full field of the flan with no legend or border. |

| Reverse description | Quadripartite incuse square divided into four equal recessed compartments by a raised cross, struck deeply into the flan by the anvil die. The resulting skew-pattern incuse, characteristic of early Greek archaic coinage, shows slightly irregular but sharply defined raised ridges forming the inner divisions. The four quadrants display alternating raised and sunken surfaces with a rough, granular texture. No legend is present. |
