| Obverse description | Bare head of a youthful female deity, most likely a local nymph or Artemis, facing left, rendered in fine archaic-to-early classical style. The hair is swept back in loose waves and gathered at the nape of the neck, with delicate strands framing the face. The modelling of the facial features displays careful attention to naturalistic detail characteristic of Thracian mint engravers of the mid-fifth century BC. The field is plain and unlettered.
