Descrizione del dritto	Cross pattée occupying the central field, with the legend AVSONA disposed around the cross in Latin characters. The flan is irregular and the surfaces heavily worn, consistent with a crudely hammered medieval silver denier of early 12th-century Catalan production. The lettering is roughly executed in the Romanesque epigraphic style typical of the County of Ausona coinage.

Descrizione del rovescio	Stylized standing figure of Saint Peter depicted in a frontal, hieratic Romanesque manner, holding his attributes, with the abbreviated legend S P (Sanctus Petrus) flanking the figure in the field. The flan is irregular with uneven strike, characteristic of hammered coinage of the period. The crude artistic rendering reflects the rudimentary minting practices of the early 12th-century County of Ausona.
