Obverse description Stylized bust of the count facing left, rendered in the crude Romanesque manner characteristic of 12th-century Iberian hammered coinage. The effigy displays flowing ribbons or hair strands extending behind the head, with linear drapery suggested at the shoulders. The portrait is executed in low relief with a broad, schematic treatment typical of the Girona mint workshop. A beaded inner border frames the design.
