Reverse description A turreted Gothic castle, the heraldic emblem of Castile, depicted in high relief within a beaded inner circle. The castle is rendered with characteristic triple-towered facade and arched gateway, consistent with the standard Castilian dinero type. A Latin legend encircles the device reading ENRICVS DEI GRACIA, with the Seville mint mark (S) appearing in the exergue or field. The overall strike is typical of the irregular, somewhat crude hammered production of this issue.
