Obverse description Central field displays the crowned arms of Navarre — a plain cross pattée set within a beaded inner circle or orle. The shield motif is rendered in low relief typical of medieval hammered billon coinage, with visible die wear across the surface. A circular Latin legend runs along the outer periphery of the flan, partially legible due to the irregular striking characteristic of hand-struck issues. The overall design is simple and emblematic, consistent with the small-denomination dinero coinage of medieval Navarre.
