| 裏面の説明 | A plain Latin cross in low relief dominates the central field, dividing the flan into four quadrants in the conventional manner of 12th-century Iberian dinero coinage. The cross arms extend nearly to the periphery of the irregular billon flan. The surrounding circumferential Latin legend reads IMPERATOR, a title adopted by Alfonso VII following his proclamation as Emperor of all Spain in 1135. The engraving is bold but rudimentary, consistent with hammered coinage of the Castilian-Leonese workshops of this period. Light encrustation and patination are visible across the surface. |
