| Reverse description | A bold central vertical line divides the reverse field into two symmetrical halves, each bearing elaborate foliate or leonine scroll ornaments rendered in a stylized Romanesque manner, possibly representing rampant lions or vegetal volutes. A small cross appears at the top of the dividing line. The design is contained within a beaded border following the irregular coin flan. The overall composition is characteristic of the Segovian dineros struck for Alfonso VII, Emperor of All Spain. |
