| Reverse description | A passant lion, facing left, with its body rendered in a stylised heraldic manner with beaded mane detailing, contained within an octolobe inner border. The lion's tail curls upward and its paws are clearly articulated. The surrounding circular Latin legend ET LEGIONIS runs between the inner octolobe border and the outer beaded rim, completing the dynastic attribution to Leon. The overall composition mirrors the obverse layout, consistent with the paired castle-and-lion typology standard for Leonese-Castilian coinage of the period. |
