The fleur-de-lis is set within the field, its three lobes clearly articulated despite the worn and irregular surface of the billon flan. A surrounding legend referencing the royal title or kingdom may appear partially along the periphery, though it is largely obscured by the coin's irregular striking and wear. The overall composition is characteristic of the emergency dineros struck during the First Granada War (1264–1268).
