正面描述 Circular field bearing a six-line inscription in Latin capital letters reading ALFONSVS REX CASTELLE ET LEGIONIS, arranged horizontally across the flan in the manner typical of Alfonsine billon dineros. The lettering is rendered in a Romanesque epigraphic style characteristic of mid-13th-century Castilian coinage, with individual letter forms showing the irregularity inherent to hand-struck hammered production. The field is bounded by a beaded or pellet border running along the coin's periphery. No central figural device is present; the legend itself constitutes the primary design element of this face.

附加信息

Alfonso X ordered this issue to fund the Mudéjar Revolt of 1264–1266, one of the most serious internal crises of his reign, in which the Muslim populations of Andalusia and Murcia rose simultaneously — almost certainly coordinated with the Nasrid ruler Muhammad I of Granada. The emergency stretched royal finances hard enough that coinage policy became a direct instrument of war funding.

The annulet privy marks distinguish this emission from closely related dineros of the period and allow attribution to this specific mobilization window. AB#245 remains the standard reference for the type.
